Win £10 worth of Harris No-Loss Brushes

The Harris No-Loss range is guaranteed against bristle loss

The Clean, No Mess Way to Paint

Ask anyone that has ever done any painting what annoys them most and they are almost certain to reply loose bristles in paint work. This unfortunately is inevitable because most paint brushes are made from pure hog bristles, which being a natural product, comes in an infinite variety of shapes, sizes and qualities.

Pure bristle used in most paint brushes is in fact pig hair, produced as a by-product of meat farming in China. It varies considerably in length and thickness depending on the animal’s age and generic strain No matter how good the manufacturing process, it is inevitable that almost every paint brush will lose the odd small or thin bristle when you paint for the first time. Poor quality brushes will lose their bristles indefinitely.

The Harris No-Loss range is guaranteed against bristle loss even from the first use as it has nylon bristles, the size and quality of which remain completely constant.

The natural “split ends” of pure bristle have been recreated and even improved with No-Loss bristle which reduces the risk of brush marks to give a very fine finish. Nylon will not absorb water making No-Loss far superior to pure bristle in emulsion and water based gloss.

There is a range of sizes for all painting jobs and it is available from all leading national and independent DIY stores.
