Picture the scene: you’re stepping through snow drops beneath sweeping trees that are covered in crystals of ice. Or perhaps you’re sipping cool champagne in the beautiful gardens of a stately home as the soft summer sun shines down on you.

This is what your special day could be like at Woolley Hall. This magical venue was rebuilt midway through the 17th Century and it was then extended and developed to become home to the Wentworth family. Today, it’s the perfect venue for the brides and grooms who choose it to start their married life together.

Private grounds create a perfect setting 

The hall itself stands in the middle of 20 acres of lush parkland making it private and with its formal Italian gardens, it provides a stunning backdrop for your photographs and videos.

Woolley Hall is licensed to conduct civil weddings and partnerships in the impressive Music Room, creating the ideal setting for you and your partner to exchange your vows. Or, you can choose to have your wedding in the ornate gardens. 

We know how important it is to have good food at your big day and Woolley Hall is proud to offer a high standard, varied menu created by top class chefs. Most importantly, you can tailor the menu to suit your tastes, style and budget.

To start the day off in the best way possible,  you can combine the ceremony with a wedding breakfast package, to help give you a completely unforgettable day. The newly refurbished Bridal Suite is also included in the day’s hire. It can be used for the bride and bridesmaids prior to the ceremony and for the newlyweds to escape to for a quiet moment together during the course of the day.

Making sure that the whole day runs smoothly is the responsibility of the wedding coordinator, who is always on hand to offer a friendly, personal and professional service. Her expert knowledge will be available to you from when you book right through to the big day.
