Hello everyone! Talk about a year of changes. The first big one was Changing Rooms coming to an end after nine years, which I’m really sad about because everyone I worked with was so lovely. On the other hand, it will also
be lovely to spend more time at home with my wife Geraldine and our four kids.

Looking back, I can recall making some really wild and wacky creations for the designers. I can’t believe how many plinths I made for Graham Wynne to stand things on but I had such a wonderful time. Nothing lasts forever, though, and it has put me in a great position for the future.

The most exciting new project I have for this year is my new range of tools, which are due on the market by the end of 2005. They will be very woman friendly because so many women are into DIY now, and are to be sold in hardware stores around the country.

In the last year I’ve been involved in a variety of TV shows, including a pilot called Increase your House by 10K, for UK Living. It was extremely hard work and in the end we lost some of our wages because we only managed to up the price of the house by £8,000! But that’s show business I guess.
