Better and better is one way to sum up Lorraine’s style – charted over the decades here…
2011

I wore this to an awards ceremony in May – it’s from Jigsaw and has a real Mad Men feel about it. I’m showing off my upper arms, toned thanks to all the tennis I’ve been playing!
2010

My little tartan dress is from Next. It’s casual and very useful for going to football matches to watch Scotland play!
2009

Out at my 50th birthday party in November (hence the poppy). This long black dress from Debenhams shows off my assets but is very flattering.
2004

This a wrap dress by Diane von Furstenberg – and I still have it. It’s so easy to wear and the print and style are timeless.
2003

The black dress and red cover-up are from Monsoon. This look was from when I wore clothes to hide behind and before I found a haircut that suits me.
2002

Looking very matronly in this Debenham’s tartan top and Monsoon skirt at a New Year do.
1994

Here I’m heavily pregnant and wearing a horrific top back in the days when maternity wear was horribly frumpy. Thankfully there are much better choices nowadays.
1992

I’m wearing my Mondi tartan jacket along with my large Butler & Wilson earrings. This was at the launch of GMTV.
1991

I was working as a presenter for TV-am and wore this very bizarre dress along with long gloves for an office party.
