Drama Queen – Big Brother

This week the only thing I was watching (apart from Disney Movies!) was the Big Brother final of course! For me watching the final was a little bit sad as it wasn’t just the final and we won’t see it again next year but it really is the end of an era.

That may sound cheesy but its true - for the past ten years of my life I have watched and analysed some of strangest and funniest people on TV and for that I am grateful. A lot of people wouldn’t agree but personally, my summers wouldn’t have been the same without it! And I suspect the majority agree with me.

Tuesday was the final and the winner of BB11 was Josie Gibson, which was no big surprise. I was very happy that she was crowned champ and she seems a very deserving winner in my opinion.

As ever, BB was full of surprises. When all of that was over and Davina had interviewed all of the finalists, Big Brother sprang the biggie and chose 11 of the most memorable housemates from the past ten years to fight for the crown to become the Ultimate Big Brother housemate. The new residents of the house will be in for two weeks.

So, just when we thought it was all over, it wasn’t. Typical Big Brother style.

In case you didn’t know already the housemates that went in were:

  1. Josie Gibson (she got the chance to go back in because she won.)
  2. Chantelle (she won Celebrity BB4, but was never a celebrity!)
  3. Preston (got together with Chantelle and ended up getting married, which only lasted 9 months!)
  4. Nadia (winner of BB5, but also the first transsexual!)
  5. Brian (winner of BB2)
  6. Ulrika (winner of Celebrity BB6)
  7. Makosi (3rd  place, but famous for the Jacuzzi incident with Anthony!)
  8. John (evicted day 12 and came 7th place, not surprised he is vile!)
  9. Coolio (Celebrity BB6, came third place)
  10. Nikki (BB7, was evicted, then came back in)
  11. Nick (also known as Nasty Nick he was famously thrown out of BB1 within 36 days, he was found trying to manipulate the other housemates votes)

If you are a Big Brother fan then like me, I hope you will enjoy it’s final days. Cue the blubbing!

Drama Queen is published fortnightly and exclusively on AtHomeMagazine.co.uk. The Drama Queen is Veruca Salt all grown up, a 20 something spoilt fan girl of good TV and movies. Yes she is on Facebook, but no she isn’t on Twitter, and she doesn’t mind who knows it. She loves her TV & Films and frankly, if she’s not writing about it, then why the hell are you watching it?
