Opened in March 2005 by Tom and Beth Kerridge, The Hand & Flowers won the culinary couple a Michelin star within a year. With a menu combining unpretentious modern British flavours and rustic French dishes, and featuring the best seasonal ingredients, Tom’s cooking has taken pub grub to new heights. So much so that in 2012, The Hand & Flowers became the first pub in Britain to be awarded two Michelin stars, thanks to offerings such as roast Chateaubriand of Lancashire beef with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and red wine sauce.
