Cocktail o’clock: Margarita
Forget tequila as a shot you gulp down double quick with your mates. Instead, serve your guests a tequila cocktail that’s worth lingering over.
You will need:
● 35ml tequila
● 15ml Cointreau
● 25ml lime juice, freshly squeezed plus 1 slice to garnish before serving
● 12.5ml sugar-cane syrup
● Ice cubes
- Moisten the rim of a chilled cocktail glass with lemon or lime juice and dip the rim in a plate of salt.
- Combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker, fill with ice and shake hard.
- Strain into the salted glass and garnish with a lime wheel on the rim.
