At Home with Sarah Beeny Autumn/Winter 2014

Renovations are messy, disruptive, time consuming, cost more – and take longer – than estimated, and they consist of hundreds of difficult decisions. But, as Sarah Beeny told me when we were planning this issue, homeowners continue to make improvements because they know the payoff can be wonderful.

The people whose homes we feature in this issue have tackled everything from a total gut renovation of a two-storey Victorian house, to a bright, shaker kitchen revamp – both makeovers are proof of the power of transformation. Elsewhere in the mag, we tackle common design problems we face when refurbishing. I’ll bet everyone has a nagging trouble spot they want to set right – the lounge that’s too dark or the dining room that’s too cluttered.

Hello. I saw a copy of your magazine in the dentist office a while ago with a fantastic cow print otterman in, that I have fixated on! I went back there today and they don’t have it anymore. I think it may have been November or October 2014 issue. Please can you let me know how I could get a copy of these to check.
    Thank you.
